Tehran International Short Film Festival reveals animation line-up

Line-up of 21 animated films has been chosen to compete at 2018 Tehran International Short Film Festival.

The animations include some internationally acclaimed titles such as ‘Empty View’ by Ali Zare Ghanat Nowi, ‘Run Rostam Run’ by Hossein Molayemi and Kianoush Abedi’s ‘Alphabet.

The 35th edition of Tehran International Short Film Festival is slated for November 2018.

Organized by Iranian Youth Cinema Society (IYCS), the festival is held to provide an opportunity for young filmmakers to exchange their experiences.

The organizers plan to promote the festival and introduce its activities to the world through increased interactions with foreign short film markets and filmmakers.

TISFF is held annually in Iranian capital city of Tehran with National and International Competitions sections.
